Now for most of you this may seem obvious, but it took me until just a few days ago to actually do this correctly. As I said, I've learned most of this on my own and I'm still learning. It will take several hours of work to get where you need to be, but the reward is more than worth it! And for PC veterans, if I miss anything or say something out ignorance, please feel free to offer your own insight. Before we start, I want to be clear that this isn't a one click fix for all your troubles. After I learned how to tweak my system and how to tweak my games I can get 45-60 FPS on medium to high settings (depending on what game it is). When I first started I was lucky to get 15-24 FPS on low settings. Sometimes there's a little tweaking you have to do to get things working like you want them, and I hope to show you how to do that. Unlike consoles, you can't always just turn it on and slap in a game, especially if you don't have a huge gaming rig. I'm writing this to serve as a guide that will hopefully help out some new people coming into pc gaming. I've learned a lot of things on my own (and am still learning a lot on my own). I've been gaming on pc for about a year now, and it's been mostly trial and error.
